Dr. Anja M. Erwin was born and raised in Longwood, Florida. She attended Stetson University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and played on their Division I Women’s Tennis Team. After volunteering alongside a dentist on a mission trip in Honduras, Dr. Erwin realized her interest in dentistry and began pursuing her dream.
Dr. Erwin earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Erwin was involved with the American Student Dental Association, and she attended and helped organize two mission trips to serve the dental needs of Palin, Guatemala. She was a recipient of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Ethic’s Award, where she was nominated by peers and faculty to represent the class in professionalism and dental ethics. Dr. Erwin is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Erwin grew up going to New Smyrna Beach, and she is excited to call it home. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickle ball, disc golf, hiking, biking, and many other outdoor activities. She also enjoys travel, particularly to visit family in Germany.
Dr. Erwin is thrilled to join the Kilman Dental team and looks forward to becoming an active part of the New Smyrna community.
